Nooooo….it’s only the South Jetty Road that is closed. That’s the road that goes to the secondary beaches. The primary beach (where the Peter Iredale wreck is) and ALL the campground loops are fully open. We left there yesterday and all is fine to camp/stay. It’s just that secondary road that is closed. The campground website makes it sound worse than it is 🙂

We really enjoyed out stay at this park also. They do a great job in keeping it very clean.

Yup. Considering the size of the park they do a great job. We always enjoy our stay here.

We are loving your pictures of Washington/Oregon coast. It’s great to be reminded why we love the Pacific Northwest, while at the same time making us feel somewhat “homesick”. We are laughing at each other when we realize that we miss the small things, such as rain, wearing hoodies in June, day light until 9pm and so much more. We think we are going back to the area and spend a few months of the winter until we figure out where we want to be next Summer.

We are also full-timing this year with our family and recently found your site through our friends, the Boyinks. We’re in Bend, OR now but will be headed to Fort Stevens in about 10 days and really appreciate the thorough reviews of the campgrounds. Wish I had them when I was booking sites for this part of our trip! Your photography is also amazing. Keep it up! We’re big fans and hope our paths will cross soon.
