A journey of experiences….

April 5, 2010 by libertatemamo 8 Comments

And so it began…

On Mar 1st, 2010 the dog, the 2 cats, the man and I made the decision to pack away our stuff and coast across the US in a 40-foot moving home. Many may think this is nuts, and it may well be (we have been called by various such names in our time), but this is our life and we’ve decided to blog about the experience so others may have the opportunity to follow the craziness in action. Life is but the sum of your expeiences, so in that light, may all your travels be rich with the wind on your back and the sun in your face. Enjoy the blog….

Wonderful Nina! The only thing I would love to hear more about is Polly. Updates and photos would be great.

    Hi Nina and Paul,

What a rig you guys have for riding around the country!! Beautiful! I will offer the observation that you seem to have a tad more space for your remaining ‘stuff’ than I have on my bike trailer for my bicycle ride across the U.S. this summer! Good tips on getting rid of stuff! I expect to implement a serious program in this area after my trip is over!

    Looking forward to your posts!

Paul and Nina, you have been on the road for nearly a year! I found your blog about a week ago and have been following it back to the beginning. A lot of fun, thanks. I have just one more job…. then brake free with DW and Ddog. I’ll print your blog and try to see the place you have. What a talent you both have, the writing and the pictures are so enjoyable. If you are ever back in the Gilroy CA area, let us know, we’d love to invite you over for dinner and hear some of your stories first hand.

Thanks again for hours of enjoyable reading.

    Steve (Max is the dog)

Steve. Very cool! We’ll be keeping our fingers and paws crossed for you to go on the road and would love to meet up someday. We’re heading back West this year so if we make it round to Gilroy we’ll definitely let you know. Henry Coe used to be our favorite backpacking park so we know the area well. Nina
