Merry Christmas!

December 24, 2018 by libertatemamo 38 Comments

Just a quick note from this side of the pond to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

I can’t quite believe it’s almost the end of the year, but blink your eyes and there it is. This was a very different year for us, in so many ways, and the blog has been rather intermittent as we’ve adjusted to our new lives here in France. C’est la vie! As we roll into 2019, we have lots of new plans, so hopefully the blog pace will pick up again, but we’ll just have to see where serendipity takes us and how it all works out.

In the meantime today is for family, food and Christmas Cheer, so I will simply leave you with thoughts of love and wishes for a wonderful evening and a very Happy New Year.

From all of us in the Wheelingit crew, Paul, Nina, Polly, Taggart and Rand….We wish you the best end to 2018 and a most wonderful start to 2019!

Merry Christmas to your family and pets.

I am sort of surprised that you haven’t done a post on the famous French wineries yet.

After Christmas Eve mass, my family went out to eat. The older daughter has an app that allowed her to see how her dog was doing while we were out while waiting on the food to come. The dog missed her and the grandchildren since he wondered around the house looking for them, but didn’t run to do it. So that was cool to me.

This is the most recent post I found, and my comment has nothing to do with France or Christmas. We are at Lake Havasu City, camping at the state park. I remembered you had posted about being here a few years ago, and found the info in your archives. We took a lovely hike in Mockingbird Wash after reading your description. Like you, we didn’t see anyone else the entire hike or at Solitude Cove. Thanks for the tip! Sunday we’re going to Nellie’s desert bar! Happy New Year!!!

Hope you are doing well. Just wanted to thank you for all of your posts because it encouraged my husband and I to embark on part-time life on the road. We are picking up our converted sprinter van next week. Look forward to reading about your adventures RVing in Europe!

    Hello Nina and Paul,
I’m not following you as closely as in the past since I don’t ever expect to be RVing in Europe, but here’s a destination for you that was just posted on the BBC website.
