Feliz Navidad And Happy Holidays!

Just a quick note today to wish you all Feliz Navidad and Happy Holidays!

I’ll be taking the week off blogging as I enjoy this time with family, diving deep into Spanish food and waiting for Santa to turn up with our presents. He’s already on his way according to NORAD’s Santa Tracker and our Christmas Spirit is strong so I have faith he’ll find us, even if we’re far from home in SW Spain.

Tonight we eat Tapas and Paella and drink good wine, and a few days from now we’ll do a second celebration with a traditional Danish lunch of pickled herring, snaps and beer. In between we’ll do our best to work it off with hikes in the next-door mountains, but will probably still need to keep the stretchy pants on for a while. Tis the season, after all.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas, a wonderful week and the best of the Holiday Spirit! May this time be filled with joy, love and friendship for every one of you. See you soon!
